Two-year associate program providing technical training in automotive repair, service, and advanced vehicle technologies. Students gain hands-on experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing electrical, braking, steering, suspension, transmission, and hybrid/EV systems. Program includes multiple stackable certificates (Advanced Electric Drive/Alternative Fuels, Brakes & Suspension, Electrical & HVAC Diagnostics, Engine/Transmission Overhaul, and Engine Performance/Drivability). Program Curriculum
Core courses cover Automotive Electrical I–III, Brake Systems, Steering & Suspension, Engines, Transmissions, HVAC Diagnostics, and Hybrid & Alternative Fuel Vehicle Technologies. Students complete applied learning in LCC’s West Campus automotive labs, supported by ASE/NATEF-aligned instruction and practical service floor experiences.
