The Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Automotive Service Technology provides students with the mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills necessary to maintain and repair modern vehicles. Students train in hydraulic systems (brakes and transmissions), mechanical systems (engines and steering), electrical and computer systems (modules, sensors, lighting, networks), and advanced testing methods using scan tools, oscilloscopes, and gauges. Graduates are prepared for entry-level automotive technician positions or to pursue ASE certification.

Program Curriculum
Core curriculum includes courses in automotive electrical and computer systems, engines, brakes, steering and suspension, engine performance, HVAC, and cooperative work experience. Students gain hands-on experience using scan tools, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic instruments. All certificate courses apply toward the A.A.S. degree.
